Getting fat? Want to hit the gym but can’t because of your busy schedule? What you need is motivation to move forward. We all know exercise will improve the body and mind. At the same time, it will also improve blood pressure, brain function, mood, etc. But still, we make excuses to avoid the hardship in the gym. It’s time to stop being a baby and making excuses. Still not motivated enough. I hope these things will fire you up.
Get New Workout Outfits
Many people think that wearing workout outfits helps them to get the motivation to hit the gym and work out. Don’t ask me how wearing clothes can help you get shape. Well, wearing clothes may have nothing to do with fitness, but it motivates someone so that someone can exercise – it is called “Enclothed Cognition.”
When you dress up a certain way, you get the motivation and courage to do the task. And that’s why wearing gym clothes will make you hit the gym.
Buy New Sneakers
I already mentioned that dressing up in a certain way will help to do a task. And buying new sports sneakers will also do the task. For example, if you have regular answers and wear them while going to the gym, it won’t affect you that much.
But wearing sports sneakers, on the other hand, will trick your brain into thinking you have to go to the gym and exercise. Besides, I can’t possibly deny the fact sports sneakers also helps in running and moving while training.
It’s a proven fact – doing something continuously and regularly will make you bored, and eventually, you will lose interest in that task. It goes for exercising too. Then what to do?
According to most fitness trainers, one must exercise and have fun both at the same time to avoid boredom.
If you are bored doing push-ups or squads, you should take a break and go for a long trip with your buddy on a bicycle. It sounds fun because you are with all your buddies, and eventually, you are doing the exercise.
Prepared All the Time
I am not saying to wear gym outfits and sneakers all the time, even when you are sleeping or using the washroom. What I meant is to make the necessary preparation before the week starts. Why? Because our body and mind always try to find a way to avoid hardships. And since you have been doing exercise for a long time, your brain will try to make excuses like clothes aren’t ready, sneakers are dirty, or you are feeling too well.
If you roll with those excuses, you will ended-up up losing your continuity. That’s why to be prepared before you start the week.
Fitness comes from improving your workout routine. For example, you are a chubby person and won’t get in shape. But what you have been doing for the past few months is running for only 10 minutes. Surely, you have improved a little from your previous state, but if you are stuck with 10 minutes, you won’t gain anything at all.
So, you have to push yourself continuously so that you can achieve something. And don’t stop there; always push yourself and improve yourself.
